Eighteen years after launching its first pizzeria in Gemmayzeh, the Margherita chain continues its expansion in Lebanon after opening a new chain in Dbayeh on July 1.

Gaby Bou Najem inaugurated a new chain of Margherita Pizzeria del Quartiere dal 1959 in Dbayeh on July 1, with a fully self-financed investment of nearly $800,000. With this new spot, Bou Najem aims to accompany the gradual shift of restaurant activity from Jounieh — where Margherita Mare has operated since 2012 — toward the suburbs of Beirut, while also banking on a gradual improvement in economic conditions. "The area has become one of the most active dining destinations in Metn. It attracts customers from both Metn and Kesrouan, who often prefer not to travel to Beirut anymore," he explained.Located on an area of nearly 300 square meters, including the terrace, the restaurant offers 110 seats: 60 inside and 50 outside.
