When you go to Chop Suey, you should not expect to receive "authentic" Chinese food, but rather Americanized Chinese food. Bearing that in mind, you will be delighted by and savor many of the dishes they offer. So don’t go salivating for Peking Duck, one of the most celebrated dishes of Mandarin Chinese cuisine, which some would say is the national dish of China. Similarly, you will not find infamous desserts such as Glutinous Rice Dumplings or Sticky Rice with Mango, as they are nowhere to be served here.
