After the success of Kubri, the Chehlaoui sisters and chef Rita Higgins have opened Shwi, a restaurant inspired by Beirut's popular snack spots to showcase a Lebanese cuisine that's modern, youthful, accessible, and welcoming.

They never imagined co-opening a restaurant, let alone two. Following the success of Kubri — their first Levantine bistronomy venue in Paris — sisters Mayfrid and Ingrid Chehlaoui and chef Rita Higgins inaugurated their second Paris food spot, Shwi, on April 24.
