Perched atop Palm Beach with sweeping views of Beirut’s corniche, Yamma has quickly become the city’s lively new summer destination.Behind the rooftop venue, which opened July 17, are well-known figures from the Lebanese scene: the founders of Em Sherif and Roger Saad, also known as DJ Rodge, one of the country’s most prominent DJs. Their goal was to create a space where live music and Mediterranean cuisine come together.“We wanted to create a bar-restaurant with an Oriental and Mediterranean vibe, without shisha, with a real musical program,” said Mireille Hayeck.
