Almost all new arrivals in Verdun are positioned in the lower to mid-range segment, reflecting the area's general positioning.

Verdun: Slowly waking up

Verdun has long been and still is primarily a destination for family outings, situated in a high-end residential area also home to business offices. The zone is not known for its nightlife as it lacks bars and hosts mainly cafés and restaurants. As of this year, there are 61 food and beverage (F&B) outlets on offer in Verdun, compared to 54 in 2023, making the zone now 12.5 percent higher in terms of supply. There are nine new establishments that have opened since Hodema’s last report in 2023, one of which is the local coffee shop chain, Stories, which has expanded nationwide in the past year. Stories has chosen the renowned Dunes Center to open one of its branches with a seating capacity of 12.
