The adjacent areas of Monnot and Sodeco appear to have undergone a transformation since last year and are now positioned in the mid-range segment.

The area of Monnot-Sodeco is split in terms of its offerings. One half, Sodeco, is home primarily to Lebanese restaurants near the historical Green Line, while the other section, Abdelwahab Street and Monnot Street, are a residential area with high purchasing power and high demand by investors.Overall, Monnot-Sodeco is starting to feel more vibrant. The outlets themselves continue to be the primary destination but as a whole, the neighborhood is stable and Sodeco’s landmarks in particular continue to do well. Older clientele tend to frequent the larger and higher-end outlets in the area, while students of the Saint Joseph University as well as those working in Beirut Digital District frequent the more budget-friendly establishments.
