Letters to Lebanon

It’s easy to get lost in the headlines, not just as a reader, but as a journalist too. Numbers, names and places are constantly flying across your screen, detached from life and devoid of emotion. When it’s home, or it’s close to home, the news will never really capture the feeling of it. These letters, written to no one in particular — or maybe someone very particular — are a chance for our team and our readers to remind each other of the human spirit that survives amid the sleepless stream of news.
