Today at 2:30 p.m., Beirut time, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah will deliver his fifth speech since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas on Oct. 7.

What can we expect from Nasrallah's speech?

His address today comes to commemorate the first week since the death of Wissam Tawil, a senior Hezbollah commander, who was killed by an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon. Also, today marks the 100th day of the war in Gaza.

A week ago, Nasrallah spoke twice and denounced what he called a "blatant Israeli attack" on the southern suburbs of Beirut, following the assassination of Saleh al-Arouri, the deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas. He added at the end of his speech that the operation "will not go unpunished."

On Jan. 6, Hezbollah claimed to have carried out "an initial response" to the assassination of the Hamas deputy leader by firing "62 rockets" at the Israeli base in Meron. The party also claimed to have caused injuries.
