rima karame

Originally from Akkar, Rima Karame is a professor specializing in education management and educational policies. She is an associate professor and president at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and director of the 'Tamam' project, a regional initiative for sustainable school improvement. She is part of the National Moderation parliamentary bloc and succeeds Abbas Halabi, affiliated with the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) of Taymour Joumblatt.
