BEIRUT — The Association of Banks in Lebanon (ABL) is expected to reappoint Bank of Beirut CEO Salim Sfeir for a fourth consecutive term as its chairman Wednesday, after once again amending its bylaws to allow him to remain in office.According to two invitations dated Aug. 19 and reviewed by L’Orient-Le Jour, ABL members will first convene for an extraordinary general assembly at 12:30 p.m. at the association’s headquarters in Beirut. This will be followed at 1 p.m. by its annual ordinary general assembly.The extraordinary meeting will consider amendments to Articles 10 and 21 of ABL’s bylaws.
