Cairo preparatory meeting: EU to provide $100M to support Lebanese Army

The European Union intends to contribute $100 million to the international conference in support of the Lebanese Army, scheduled for March 5 in Paris, L’Orient-Le Jour learned, on the sidelines of Tuesday’s preparatory meeting in Cairo.According to our sources, this contribution is expected to finance the purchase of logistical equipment, as in previous support conferences.
