More than six months after Israel's war against Iran, the issue is far from resolved. Ali Vaez, researcher at the International Crisis Group, explained the situation to L'Orient-Le Jour.

If the objectives are aligned, the methods are less so. The Iranian problem is once again on the table between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during their sixth meeting this year on Monday in Florida. Trump no longer sees Tehran as a priority, believing he has "obliterated" its nuclear program and is reluctant to see the United States drawn into a new conflict in the Middle East, while Netanyahu touts the threat of its ballistic program to get Washington's support for new Israeli strikes on Iran.
