On Saturday, a man in his twenties from Minieh (North Lebanon) died during a paragliding flight in Jounieh (Kesrwan), a popular spot among athletes. Throughout the weekend, images circulated on social media showing what was presented as the victim's body, covered with a sheet and lying by the side of a road next to a paraglider. Since then, paragliding flights have been banned pending the results of the ongoing investigation.
