Is the Faraya murder investigation being obstructed?
One of the suspects had a private conversation with a lawyer before his hearing, contrary to the law and likely only with the help and pressure of an influential party, a source close to the case has said.

BEIRUT — Two of the four people arrested in the case of 20-year-old Khalil Khalil's murder in Faraya in early February made their first court appearance on Tuesday in front of Mount Lebanon Judge Nicolas Mansour.Khalil was killed on the night of Feb. 1, when, according to a source close to the case, one of the suspects, R.S., got into an argument with Khalil over right-of-way on the road. He then contacted J.C., the second of the suspects to appear in court, and asked him to chase Khalil.
