During the last decade the amount of financial assistance being given to Syrian refugees in Lebanon has been a source of controversy. Several political parties and certain members of Lebanese society accuse Syrians of receiving more aid than the Lebanese people, who have also been severely impacted by five years of economic crisis, as well as by the ongoing war with Israel.
So how much aid are Syrians and Lebanese people in Lebanon really receiving? L’Orient Today’s Layal Dagher takes a look.
