In northern Israel, firefighters and the Israeli military tried to control raging forest fires after rockets were launched from Hezbollah in neighboring Lebanon. The two sides have been exchanging continuous cross-border fire almost daily since Oct. 8, the day after the start of the Gaza war.
Yesterday, similar fires broke out in southern Lebanon during the day and overnight as a result of Israeli artillery fire.
