Shortly after midnight on Monday, Sept. 21, the region of al-Eis, south of Aleppo, was shaken by an explosion at a Syrian army ammunition depot. Projectiles were propelled into the surrounding countryside. Four people were wounded, according to authorities. Viewed in isolation, the incident seems unremarkable.
