Five people detained by the Israeli army in Lebanon have been released since Thursday, while 38 others are believed to remain in Israeli custody, according to a list issued Friday by Lebanon’s Committee of Detainees and information from L’Orient Today’s correspondent.The detainees include civilians, fishermen and shepherds, as well as combatants. Some were captured during the 2024 and 2026 wars between Israel and Hezbollah, while others were detained during the cease-fires that followed.
