"No one wants to end up stranded in Lebanon." Tarek*, a consultant who has lived in Montreal for the past decade, is realistic about the security situation in the country and decided against having a family reunion in Beirut this summer. His sister, who lives in Boston, and his brother, who lives in London with his wife and their two young children, made the same decision.
