The second edition of the Écrans du Sud cycle at Metropolis offers Lebanese audiences, from May 28 to June 6, a program hailing from the four corners of the Global South, as well as encounters with filmmakers. The latest feature by Spanish-French director Oliver Laxe, "Sirāt," will be screened on Tuesday, June 2 at 8 p.m. in the presence of the filmmaker, who made it a point to travel to Lebanon despite current circumstances and who will also hold a master class the following day.
