The association Animals Lebanon rescued a four-week-old lion cub in Baalbeck (Bekaa) on Friday, which was being illegally held by a private individual. The investigation, which began in early February in Qana, in southern Lebanon's Sour district, posed a real challenge for the animal protection association, and also engaged the Agriculture Ministry, the Justice Department and law enforcement forces.
