Hopes for a cease-fire in Gaza haven’t been this strong in weeks. On Monday afternoon, the Israeli delegation in Doha sent Hamas a draft agreement aimed at establishing a cease-fire and securing the release of Israeli hostages still held in Gaza.“It seems we’re moving toward an agreement. Israel has shown considerable flexibility on several issues in recent days,” an Israeli official told Axios journalist Barak Ravid. The proposal has already received approval from Qatari, Egyptian and American mediators in Qatar.
