Sharp decline in rainfall leads to water rationing

Lebanon is recording alarming numbers, with over 120 millimeters less rainfall on average this autumn compared to 2023, according to Météo-Liban.

The Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment announced on Sunday the implementation of a “drastic rationing program” across its jurisdiction, including Kesrouan, Metn and Beirut.
