Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced, in a statement on Wednesday, the full resumption of its regular flight schedule starting Dec. 12 2024.

A few hours after the cease-fire announcement between Hezbollah and Israel, MEA said that it would operate an additional 32 flights between Nov. 28 and Dec. 3 and increase the capacity of its aircraft to more than 30 destinations.

The war intensified on Sept. 23 and other airlines suspended their flights to Beirut. Accordingly, MEA had to fill a big void, and continued to operate normally, despite the daily raids on the southern suburbs, where Beirut’s international airport is located.

The additional flights are distributed as follows:

- On Nov. 28, two flights to and from Baghdad

- On Nov. 29, flights to and from Baghdad, Cairo, Istanbul, Cairo, Istanbul, Istanbul, Al Najaf, Kuwait, Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha and Dubai

- On Nov. 30, flights to and from Dubai, Doha, Amman, Athens, Cairo, Paris, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.

- On Dec. 1, flights to and from Kuwait, Baghdad, Paris, Cairo, Riyadh, Dubai and Doha.

- On Dec. 2, flights to and from Dubai, Doha, Istanbul, Cairo, Baghdad and Doha.

- On Dec. 3, flights to and from Doha, Abidjan, Amman, Jeddah, Istanbul, Riyadh and Doha.
