After the Israeli retaliation, negotiations: Will the Americans succeed before the presidential election?

There’s a lot to say about the Israeli response against Iran. It certainly didn’t live up to Israeli threats and was clearly coordinated with the United States, possibly even orchestrated by them, through direct and indirect communication with the concerned parties to prevent a regional war from breaking out. The U.S. administration seems proud to have secured the cooperation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with its requests and restrictions.
