At the border with Israel, the town of Rmeish stands alone
The predominantly Christian village is abandoned by the government, accused of betrayal by the ‘Resistance,’ and battered by relentless Israeli bombardment.

To the west, Israeli tanks have cut off the road linking the village to Aita al-Shaab.
