Residents of the villages of Bahboush (Koura) and Aitaroun (Bint Jbeil) gathered on Wednesday for the funerals of the victims of an Israeli strike on Monday on the village of Aito (Zgharta). According to L'Orient-Le Jour's correspondent, 23 displaced people who had fled the Israeli bombings in South Lebanon were buried in the cemetery of Bahboush after a service attended by the imams of the two villages.

The head of the Aitaroun municipality, Salim Mourad, was present at the funeral and thanked the residents of Koura, Zgharta and North Lebanon in general, stressing that Israel "attacks all of Lebanon."

The Lebanese Ministry of Health now counts 2,367 killed and 11,088 injured, including 17 killed and 182 injured on Tuesday alone, since Oct. 8, 2023, according to the latest report published on Wednesday.
