At least 32 people, including two children, were killed and more than 3,000 others were injured during Tuesday and Wednesday's exploding devices attack, with around 300 in critical condition, in the deadliest days in Lebanon since the onset of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel on Oct. 8, 2023, according to a provisional toll released Wednesday evening. Hezbollah and the caretaker Lebanese government have accused the Israeli state of orchestrating Tuesday’s massive attack, which allegedly involved the use of miniature explosives embedded in small pagers recently deployed by the party.
