Tensions between Israel and Turkey are rising as Tel Aviv intensifies its operations in Syria. Ankara, which favors containing Iran rather than toppling its regime, fears that, after weakening Tehran and Hezbollah, Israel will try to encircle Turkey and target its regional influence.
