Fuel prices rise except for domestic gas prices

The prices of gasoline, diesel for vehicles and fuel oil for generators have all risen, according to the new price scale published by the Ministry of Energy and Water. Only the price of domestic gas has fallen. All the variations remain modest, the largest reaching LL 10,000, or $0.11 at the current market exchange rate, which has been averaging around LL 89,500 to the dollar for several months.

Here are the latest prices:

- 20 liters of 95 octane gasoline: 1,503,000 Lebanese pounds (+3,000 LL).

- 20 liters of 98 octane gasoline: 1,543,000 LBP (+3,000 LBP).

- 20 liters of diesel (for vehicles): 1.486.000 LL (+10.000 LL).

- Domestic gas cylinder: LL 930,000 (-LL7,000).

- Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to power private electric generators): $767.49, up $5.4 on Friday's last update.
