'Lebanon is my soul': Nayla Nicolas, radiologist and recipient of the Jacques Lefebvre Prize

Six years after developing an innovative examination for pediatric radiology and after following 670 patients, Lebanese native Doctor Nayla Nicolas has just seen her work gain international recognition. Awarded the prestigious Jacques Lefebvre Prize for the year 2026 last June, this radiologist at the Curie Institute in Paris succeeded in improving the diagnosis and care of children with soft tissue cancer.The Jacques Lefebvre Prize is an award given by the European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR) in honor of Professor Jacques Lefebvre, himself a pioneer in the field.
