BEIRUT — Israeli artillery shelling continued in southern Lebanon on Thursday morning, mainly between Haddatha and Haris (Bint Jbeil district), and in Wadi Zebqine (Sour), according to our correspondent in the region.
Overnight, Israel launched a series of airstrikes on Wadi Slouqi, a valley that separates the Marjayoun and Bint Jbeil districts, and on Kfar Tibnit (Nabatieh).
On Wednesday evening, Israeli airstrikes hit Mansouri (Sour) repeatedly until dawn, as occupying forces carried out a detonation. Israeli strikes also hit Wadi Zebqine several times.
In the Nabatieh district, a Merkava tank stationed in the Israeli-occupied village of Zawtar Sharqieh opened fire on Nabatieh Fawqa with several shells. Israeli artillery hit Nabatieh Fawqa, the Debshe area in the hills above Kfar Roummane, and Mayfadoun.
Overnight into Thursday, Israeli strikes and machine-gun fire were reported in Haddatha, Srebbine, and Aita al-Jabal (all in Bint Jbeil).
