Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz visited southern Lebanon, where he instructed the Israeli army to remain deployed in the area until the foreseeable future. The visit was another indication of Israel’s willingness to launch a new military offensive, mainly in the hills of Ali Taher, Dabshe, and al-Tahra.This chain of interconnected hills occupies a strategic position.
