The war between the United States and Iran continues to spread and intensify across the region. Following an Iranian missile attack on a U.S. base in Jordan, Washington launched a new wave of strikes against the Islamic Republic on Thursday, July 30. The previous day, Egypt, one of the mediators in the conflict, was itself drawn into the confrontation after an unclaimed drone strike hit a vessel in the Mediterranean port of Damietta.
