On Sunday, the Israeli army claimed it had dismantled a Hezbollah military infrastructure in Majdal Zoun (Sour district), where a fragile calm has prevailed for more than two days, following the agreement signed between Iran and the United States. It claimed to uncover an underground tunnel "more than 25 meters deep, with four firing openings and rooms used to store explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and drones." The highly publicized discovery came days after the Israeli army officially marked, on a new map, advances beyond what it dubbed a "buffer zone" in mid-April inside southern Lebanon.
