How Lebanon will use the million liters of fuel donated by Iraq

While all eyes were on the meeting in Washington between Lebanese and Israeli envoys to discuss a cease-fire, around 30 trucks dispatched by Iraq arrived at Lebanon’s Masnaa border crossing with Syria on April 13. The tanks of the trucks carried one million liters of fuel intended to help displaced people in areas bombarded by Israel in the wake of the war with Hezbollah.The fuel had to be transported overland because Iraq has been exporting its oil by tanker truck through Syria since early April following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz amid the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.
