SOUTH LEBANON — A video circulated this weekend showing Israeli military vehicles destroying solar panels near Dibil, southern Lebanon. The owner of the panels and local residents confirmed to L'Orient Today that the incident did indeed take place on the outskirts of this Christian village in the district of Bint Jbeil, whilst the Israeli army has condemned the incident.The video in question, dated April 24, shows an excavator striking around ten solar panels with the intention of destroying them, whilst another excavator demolishes a tractor nearby.
