Since the beginning of Israel's invasion of southern Lebanon last month, the Israeli army has seized several areas, particularly in the eastern sector. To the west, it is only a few kilometers from Sour. Finally, in the central sector, it is attempting to encircle the town of Bint Jbeil. The goal? To establish a buffer zone inside Lebanese territory.For now, Israel is trying to consolidate its position in a strip eight kilometers deep, with the aim of protecting its northern border from anti-tank missiles.
