Meerab meeting: Messages to Hezbollah… and to Aoun?
The protagonists hostile to the Hezbollah ratcheted up their tone against the latter while renewing their support for the recent initiative of the president of the republic.

This is the third meeting of its kind since 2024. Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Saturday brought together several parties and figures opposed to Hezbollah, as part of a “national meeting to save Lebanon.” The occasion was used to denounce the unilateral decision by the pro-Iranian militia to drag Lebanon into the regional war. In this context, Geagea called for the prosecution of “those who led the country to war” through a court that would be specially tasked with this file, among other strict measures against Hezbollah.
