Israel's military began a new wave of air strikes on the Iranian cities of Tehran and Isfahan, it said Saturday, as the U.S.-Israeli attack against the Islamic republic entered its second week.

"The IDF has begun a broad wave of strikes toward infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime in Tehran and Isfahan," a military statement said.

The military said earlier Saturday that 80 fighter jets had completed another wave of strikes on Tehran and central Iran.
