How can Lebanon still sustain a cultural life amid ongoing war, financial collapse, systemic corruption, and geopolitical instability, marked by the absence of governance and a public space conducive to creation? The question is less about the survival of culture than about its dissemination and social role. Does the state still have a function to fulfill in the cultural field, or does its de facto withdrawal require a complete rethinking of existing frameworks?
