After 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, a long line of cars waiting to enter the Mzaar Ski Resort in Kfar Dibian (Kesrouan district) shows the extent of skiers' enthusiasm. More than 3 kilometers of traffic jams separate snow lovers from the start of the slopes — not enough to deter them. Lebanon’s largest ski resort launched its season on Jan. 3, with 80 percent of the slopes open. "The start of this season is excellent in terms of weather: We got snow early enough," said Youmna Rizk, director of the resort.
