BEIRUT — Body parts of a person killed in an Israeli airstrike at the start of the war were found in a targeted building at the junction of Maarakeh (Sour), according to the state-run National News Agency.
At the beginning of the war, the body was retrieved by the civil defense team of the Amal-affiliated Risala Scout Association. The same team has now buried the recently discovered body parts next to the body, according to NNA.
More than 4,000 people were killed in Lebanon during the war between Hezbollah and Israel, which lasted from October 2023 until the cease-fire agreement in late November.
