On Monday, the Israeli air force bombed "around thirty villages" in southern Lebanon's Sour district, bordering northern Israel, "in less than half an hour," announced the official Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).
Israeli airstrikes, artillery shelling and drone strikes have also incessantly targeted other areas of southern Lebanon, the Bekaa and Beirut's southern suburbs.
According to the NNA, a "series of strikes" occurred in various areas of southern Lebanon as cross-border fire between Israel and Hezbollah escalated into open warfare following Israel's intensified strikes across Lebanon on Sept. 23.
