Lebanon is now on a path that increasingly resembles the conflict that has lasted for more than a year in Gaza. A significant military escalation, threats of a ground invasion, and an expansion of targets, through which the Israelis aim to spread terror among the Lebanese in general, and Hezbollah's base in particular. For the past few days, the Israelis have been using various tactics in their military operations, notably the systematic destruction of homes and infrastructure to displace as many residents as possible. Additionally, they are targeting areas that were not hit even during the July 2006 war, such as the town of Joun in the coastal Chouf region, or Maaysra in Kesrouan-Ftouh. Through this, Tel Aviv intends to signal that any area where Hezbollah is present will be targeted. Not to mention that strikes on Shiite villages...
