The ambassadors in Beirut from the Quintet countries involved in the Lebanese file— the U.S., France, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar— met as planned on Saturday at the Résidence des Pins in Beirut. The meeting was organized ahead of a new round of talks aimed at resolving the presidential impasse. The French Embassy has not yet provided details on the content of the meeting.
