Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced its flight schedule for the period from Sept. 16 to 30, a practice it has maintained since the intensification of clashes between Hezbollah and Israel in southern Lebanon, as well as tensions between Israel and Iran – which supports Hezbollah – forced several airlines to adjust their routes.
The national airline also announced some changes to flights to Athens, Istanbul, Larnaca, Jeddah, Kuwait, Cairo and Baghdad, as well as the cancellation of some night flights to London, Dubai and Doha (ME203/4, ME430/1 and ME434/5). All other flights are maintained as scheduled.
Europe
For European destinations, MEA plans 86 weekly flights:
Flight ME212 from Paris to Beirut will arrive daily at 6:55 p.m., while flight ME211 will depart Beirut at 7:55 a.m., landing in Paris at 11:35 a.m., with a total of 14 weekly flights.
Flight ME230 from London to Beirut will arrive daily at 11:25 p.m., while flight ME229 will depart Beirut at 1:00 p.m., arriving in London at 4:40 p.m.
Flight ME266 from Istanbul will arrive daily at 3:40 p.m., and flight ME265 will depart Beirut at 10:50 a.m., arriving in Istanbul at 12:45 p.m., with 14 weekly flights. Please note that the departure time of flights ME265/ME266 may vary depending on the date of operation.
Flight ME268 from Istanbul to Beirut will arrive daily at 10:25 p.m., while flight ME267 will depart Beirut at 5:35 p.m. and arrive in Istanbul at 7:30 p.m.
Flight ME202 from London to Beirut will arrive daily at 7:35 p.m., while flight ME201 will depart Beirut at 8:10 a.m., arriving in London at 11:15 a.m., with a total of seven weekly flights.
Flight ME204 from London to Beirut will operate only on Sept. 16, 18 and 20, arriving in Beirut at 4:45 a.m., and flight ME203 will depart at 5:25 p.m., arriving in London at 8:35 p.m.
Flight ME218 from Frankfurt to Beirut will arrive daily at 4:50 p.m., and flight ME217 will depart at 7:20 a.m., arriving in Frankfurt at 10:35 a.m., with a total of seven weekly flights.
Flight ME248 from Düsseldorf will arrive in Beirut daily at 4:20 p.m., while flight ME247 will leave Beirut at 7:00 a.m., arriving in Düsseldorf at 10:15 a.m., with seven flights per week.
Flight ME252 from Athens will arrive every day except Sunday at 4:40 p.m., while flight ME251 will depart Beirut at 12:00 p.m., arriving in Athens at 1:55 p.m. On Sunday, flight ME254 will arrive in Beirut at 9:40 p.m., and flight ME253 will depart at 5:00 p.m., arriving in Athens at 6:55 p.m.
Flight ME1262 from Larnaca to Beirut will arrive daily at 9:05 a.m., while flight ME1261 will depart Beirut at 9:00 p.m. and arrive in Larnaca at 9:40 p.m., with seven weekly flights.
Flight ME214 from Geneva to Beirut will arrive on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 4:35 p.m., and flight ME213 will depart at 7:25 a.m. to arrive in Geneva at 10:35 a.m., with four flights per week.
Flight ME236 from Milan will arrive in Beirut on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 3:45 p.m., while flight ME235 will depart at 7:15 a.m. for arrival in Milan at 10:10 a.m., with a total of four weekly flights.
Flight ME232 from Rome will arrive in Beirut on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3:05 p.m., while flight ME231 will depart at 7:20 a.m. for arrival in Rome at 9:55 a.m., with three flights per week.
Flight ME216 from Brussels will arrive in Beirut on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 4:45 p.m., while flight ME215 will leave Beirut at 7:05 a.m. to arrive in Brussels at 10:35 a.m., with three flights per week.
Flight ME226 from Copenhagen will arrive in Beirut on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 3:30 a.m., while flight ME225 will depart at 6:20 p.m., arriving in Copenhagen at 9:30 p.m., for a total of three weekly flights.
Flight ME242 from Madrid will arrive in Beirut on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:25 p.m., and flight ME241 will depart at 9:15 a.m. to arrive in Madrid at 1:15 p.m., with three flights per week.
Flight ME276 from Yerevan will arrive in Beirut on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:15 p.m., while flight ME275 will depart Beirut at 9:05 a.m. and arrive in Yerevan at 12:15 p.m., with a total of three flights per week.
Gulf and Iraq
For flights to the Gulf and Iraq, MEA operates 85 weekly flights:
Flight ME423 from Riyadh to Beirut will arrive daily at 11:35 p.m., while flight ME422 will depart Beirut at 5:55 p.m., arriving in Riyadh at 8:15 p.m., with a total of 14 flights per week.
Flight ME425 from Riyadh to Beirut will arrive daily at 2:15 p.m., while flight ME424 will depart Beirut at 8:30 a.m., arriving in Riyadh at 10:50 a.m.
Flight ME427 from Dubai will arrive in Beirut daily at 3:05 p.m., and flight ME426 will depart Beirut at 7:30 a.m., arriving in Dubai at 11:45 a.m., with a total of 14 weekly flights.
Flight ME429 from Dubai to Beirut will arrive daily at 11:59 p.m., while flight ME428 will depart Beirut at 4:25 p.m., arriving in Dubai at 8:40 p.m.
Flight ME375 from Jeddah will arrive in Beirut daily at 9:55 a.m., while flight ME374 will depart Beirut at 10:50 p.m., arriving in Jeddah at 1:20 a.m., with a total of 14 flights per week.

Flight ME305 from Cairo will arrive in Beirut from Monday to Sunday at 11:40 a.m., while flight ME304 will depart Beirut at 8:05 a.m., arriving in Cairo at 9:25 a.m., with a total of 13 flights per week.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, flight ME305 will arrive in Beirut at 2:25 p.m., and flight ME304 will leave Beirut at 10:50 a.m., arriving in Cairo at 12:10 p.m.
Flight ME307 from Cairo will arrive in Beirut daily at 9:50 p.m., while flight ME306 will depart Beirut at 6:15 p.m., arriving in Cairo at 7:35 p.m.
Flight ME311 from Amman will arrive in Beirut on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11:10 a.m., while flight ME310 will depart Beirut at 7:50 a.m., arriving in Amman at 9:00 a.m., with 10 weekly flights.

Flight ME572 from Abidjan will arrive in Beirut on Mondays and Fridays at 9:00 p.m., while flight ME571 will depart Beirut at 2:05 a.m., arriving in Abidjan at 7:30 a.m.
Flight ME576 from Abidjan will arrive on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m., and flight ME575 will depart Beirut at 2:05 a.m., arriving in Abidjan at 7:25 p.m.
Flight ME572 from Lagos will arrive in Beirut on Mondays and Fridays at 9:00 p.m., while flight ME571 will depart Beirut at 2:05 a.m., arriving in Lagos at 6:20 a.m., with two weekly flights.
Flight ME576 from Accra will arrive in Beirut on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m., and flight ME575 will depart Beirut at 2:05 a.m., arriving in Accra at 5:30 p.m., with two flights per week.
