This Saturday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. Beirut time, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah will deliver his second speech since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas on Oct. 7. This speech is part of "Martyr's Day." Since the start of the daily clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, the Shiite party has reported the death of at least 63 fighters.
According to our political analysts, Hassan Nasrallah is expected to maintain the position he outlined in his first speech on Nov. 3 regarding Hezbollah's stance: the party remains on the sidelines in this conflict, at least for the moment.
When: For those following the speech live in English, it will begin at 2:30 p.m. Beirut time (1:30 p.m. Paris time, 8:30 a.m. New York time) on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Why this speech is important: This is the second speech by the Hezbollah leader since the start of the war between Hamas and Israel. Since Oct. 8, the war has spilled over into southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah and the Israeli army clash daily. In this context, each of Nasrallah's speeches could mark a turning point in the conflict, amid fears of regional escalation.
Bonus: Our reporters will be on the ground to gather reactions from the Lebanese people, and our analysts will be behind their desks for real-time analysis of the Hezbollah leader's speech.
