Washington restricts US officials' travel to 2 Saudi cities

Washington announced last night that it is restricting travel by U.S. officials to two Saudi cities amid repeated attacks by Yemen's Houthis against the Gulf monarchy.

"Due to the current security situation in Saudi Arabia, U.S. government employees working in the Kingdom must now obtain special authorization for any travel — whether for business or personal reasons — to the cities of Taif and Yanbu," the U.S. State Department said in a statement on X.

Iran threatens to use new weapons, expand target list in event of fresh US attack

Iran would deploy new weapons and target sites previously left untouched if the United States were to launch a new offensive against the country, Revolutionary Guard spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi announced, as cited by the Fars news agency.

"In the event of further aggression, we will certainly alter our arsenal as well as the geography of the war," he stated, adding that Tehran was prepared for a prolonged conflict.

Series of Israeli-led demolitions in Mansouri; explosions heard as far as Zahrani

Meanwhile, a series of successive Israeli-led demolitions shook Mansouri, in the Sour district, overnight.

The explosions were heard several kilometers away, as far as the Zahrani coastline south of Saida.

Another demolition was also reported between Braasheet and Kounin, in the Bint Jbeil district.

Israel has been bombarding south Lebanon with strikes since dawn

Since 5 a.m., the Israeli army has been relentlessly targeting southern Lebanon, according to our correspondent in the South.

Israeli strikes hit the outskirts of Kfar Tibnit and a neighborhood in Nabatieh Fawqa — adjacent to Ali Taher Hill — in the Nabatieh district. In the same area, machine-gun and artillery fire targeted Zawtar Sharqieh and Mayfadoun.

Shortly before this, an airstrike targeted the Wadi Zibqine valley in the Sour district, accompanied by artillery and machine-gun fire.

In the Marjayoun district, artillery fire targeted the area near Wadi Slouqi, on the outskirts of Touline.

Israeli vehicle movements were also observed heading toward Wadi Slouqi. Additionally, helicopter fire targeted Deir Siryan, while machine-gun fire from Mais al-Jabal targeted the area around the Doubieh citadel, near Shaqra.

Overnight, artillery fire targeted Zawtar Sharqieh, the area between Zawtar Sharqieh and Mayfadoun, and Mansouri.
