An oil tanker operated by Emirati state-owned oil company Adnoc was attacked Friday evening while crossing the Strait of Hormuz, the company said Saturday in a statement cited by the official WAM news agency.
’’The incident did not cause any injuries and the situation was brought under control,’’ Adnoc said.
Several of the company’s oil tankers were already targeted Thursday and last week in attacks in the Strait of Hormuz.
